Please join the Gallatin History Museum for our Monthly Speaker Series in the Hager Auditorium MOR Wednesday October 10th 6:00pm for Todd Harwell - "No More War, No More Plague -The Spanish Influenza Pandemic Toll on Montana".
The presentation will provide an overview of the toll of the Spanish influenza epidemic on Montana communities and the public health response to the pandemic.
Todd Harwell currently is the Administrator of the Public Health and Safety Division in the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. He received his Master's degree in Public Health/Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. He has over 28 years of experience in this field.
This special event is being held in conjunction with the Gallatin History Museum and MSU Center for Western Lands & People fall 2018 collaboration, “Memories and Legacies of World War I - Commemorating the Armistice". Additional community support provided by MSU Library, the Bozeman Public Library, MSU Department of History and Philosophy, Bozeman High School, and the Museum of the Rockies.
